pitch a tent anywhere

When D and I found mold in the house we pitched a tent in the backyard. It was romantic.
Finding love in trusting a funny idea and doing things that my inner kid is excited about. It was his idea.
The mold was tested and thankfully it is not the killer black mold.

We've upped our immune stimulating and anti-inflammatory herbs. Adding to the morning farmers market vegetable drink; nettles, milk thistle, yellow dock, turmeric, artichoke leaf, kelp, garlic, ginger, cayenne and a lot of good intention. Perfect combo for any allergen prevention! Plus it's pretty tasty too.

This combo is packed full of nutrients, minerals, vitamins and herb support to help your body properly assimilate and absorb them.

fun with creation today! with a few new scent profiles!
oh, the love of aromatics. made a perfume that creates the imagery of a bright sky and buddha sipping tea under the bodhi tree, perfumed by heaven. a deep, warm, romantic, holy moment where there is only the now. all senses embraced, all levels activated and it lingers like the perfect song or the last bite of delicious.

embracing the shadow

we are all being tested. it is up to us to except the challenge.
as bright as the light is, is as dark as the shadow cast- one of my favorite remind.hers.

the acceptance of myself, all of myself is important. i am governed by my own inner glow. when i accept the darkness that defines my light as my own human expression i  am able to fully love myself. in loving and accepting myself fully my capacity to love and accept you grows.

i am up for it. i am taking a true look at what stops me from my optimal expression and i am realizing how much i frequent my authentic path. D asked me the other day, "if you could do anything right now what would you be doing?" i answered with so much certainty, "i would be healing people, just as i am" and i added "i would be traveling."

what i am looking at, now, is how i could incorporate more travel into my life. the lavender fields in france, the wild vanilla orchids in bali, the sampaguita in the philippines, they all have something in common. every magical destination has plants, herbs, essential oils, healing knowledge and adventure.

as i relax more into trust, trust in myself and my abilities, trust in others and their abilities i find so much more room to grow and be my authentic expression. so much more room to create more steps toward my optimal life. next on my living into being my authentic expression list is TRAVEL.

have a destination? i am excited to teach and support your health, wherever you are! plus there is this amazing invention - video phone! anywhere in the world where there is internet i am able to come to you via the interweb. yes, here we are instantly connected.

making talisman

a talisman made from locally foraged california flora!

inside this series is; redwood bark, usnea (lichen), artist conk (mushroom), kombu (seaweed), pine needles, and bay leaf flowers.

i love how red wood trees grow in colonies and hold each others roots like a family holding hands. usnea is that mystical lichen that drapes itself over our oak trees. i imagine lichen like oak's strength, plus usnea has protective, healing and strength building qualities itself. artists conk is a very hardy strong mushroom, cousin to the famous reishi mushroom. they both have long life attributes, but artists conk is favored by creatives- hence the name. kombu is an ally from the sea, gently swaying on the rocks like the tendrils of mermaids hair, a reminder of our free flowing depth. pine has powerful masculine qualities, it helps to laser in on your target to better make your mark. here in the bay area we have so many lovely bay trees and on my recent hike i found them in flower. these bay flowers are light navigators that help us shine our own light on our path. it's like it dusts off our inner light and invites us to shine ever brighter allowing us to see our true selves and purpose. no wonder bay leaves have been used in divination by native peoples, a light in the dark.

the green forest scent of these plants combined pair incredibly well with the wet earth smell of vetiver. vetiver is an amazing essential oil harvested from the roots of a tropical grass. these incredible roots dig down deep and hold eroding soil while also helping to purify polluted water. the essential oil of vetiver is a powerful tool in grounding. grounding is the act of being present and in your body. i use vetiver to support folks in taking action steps toward embodying new and improved mind habits. vetiver's amazing ability of crossing the brain blood barrier through aroma and the limbic system, allows the minds knowing to transcend into the bodies memory.

this talisman is very special. inviting many of earths allies to join in on a spirit/mind/body/soul journey as a grounding rod. allowing for our consciousness to transcend body habits attached to disempowering loop thoughts for a conscious meditation on presence. when we choose to be present here in this now moment we are open to experiencing  our authentic self in our body as we are now. if we are invoking in our now, love, then our ability to experience love, now, is inevitable.

welcome to a moment of my sharing a spell casting and an invocation in the form of talisman. through the channel of one of my favorite past times, sculpting earths renewable resources into wearable altars. wearable altars as reminders for you.
