i highly suggest and recommend reading this book- i realize it is on my required reading list. required reading for an optimal life. i am sculpting new herb beads. beads made from all the flowers i've been given during the year of 2012. scented with beautiful essential oils anointed with incredible essences and made into symbolic shapes.

first flash your nettle; boil water and throw in your nettle, only long enough to wilt your nettle, you still want a vibrant green. use chopsticks or gloves, because nettle stings! flashing is important because you don't want a stung tongue. set aside to cool. next throw into your vita mix the remaining ingredients, blend until smooth. then add your nettle. voila! of course you could substitute the nettle for basil or any other delicious herb. or leave out the nettle entirely and have an amazing "cheesy" sauce. tastes great on quinoa, on top a baked yam and slathered all over spaghetti squash! yummm, cheers to eating our way to health! why nettle Urtica dioica you wonder?
