i always promote this tea blend to all who suffer from acid reflux. it's a quick and easy tea to help curb the symptoms. but, remember this is a treatment of effect not the treatment of cause. and in order to stop acid reflux, the cause needs to be addressed. contact your local health care practitioner to seek help in finding your cause. The cold weather in winter is infamous for dryer skin. Here's what to do: An oat bath paired with jojoba is lovely. Add a few delicious drops of essential oils and you'll find yourself warm in no time. Oats are a fantastic emollient making them really soothing to dry irritated and itchy skin. They've been used for centuries as a go to remedy for skin ailments. Jojoba oil, really it's a wax, mimics our natural skin sebum. Giving it the ability to penetrate a dry epidural layer, offering deep moisturizing effects. Here are a few essential oils to help moisturize and revitalize skin: vetiver, blue chamomile, roman chamomile, neroli, frankincense. The details: Mix together 5-10 drops of your choice of essential oils, 2 cups of oats and 2 tablespoons of jojoba. Place everything into a muslin bag, some folks will use a stalking, throw into your tub as your bath fills up. Nope, ours rotted. It took a few days for the dark mold to appear. We asked our ferementer friends at Cultured to explain what happened and she said it was probably too cold and damp. The hoshigaki needed to be near an open free flowing source of dry air.
Oh. Still we are pretty lucky because she gave us one of her hoshigaki! Hence the picture above. Gleefully sliced into it on sushi night and happily enjoyed it. Ky said, "This is the foundation of where candy came from!" Perfect. Yes, this amazing delicious thing was worth the experiment. Will try again. |
