how do folks honor their natural circadian rhythm?
you need plenty of rest at night when it is naturally dark. folks who are 'night owls' or work the 'grave yard shift' tend be more depressed (not all but majority). you notice it when you travel into different time zones and experience jet lag or when you stay up really late and sleep in too long; when i do this i feel even more tired. it is because i didn't honor my circadian rhythm.

plus add eating every 3 hours to maintain your metabolism and to give your body a steady stream of nourishment to fuel your daily activities. think about lite snacks between meals like a handful of walnuts, fruit, carrots and almond butter, a green drink, a piece of beef jerky, and of course water. this is not about stuffing yourself. in fact at every meal, snacks included it is beneficial to leave room in your belly, not eating to that full point rather eating slow and consciously.
also an exercise regiment in your week, not everyday, but at least 3 times a week. allowing your body to regenerate and properly heal so you can incorporate the tone is necessary to maintaining optimal body strength. again, rest in between is important. when we allow our bodies enough time to rest then in every moment we arrive rested. a rested mind doesn't operate on stress or tax other body systems for energy, because of being over worked.
so, till you find your optimal rhythm...try: sleeping for 8 hours at night when it's dark. eating a snack every 3 hours in between your meals. when working; stand up and stretch or do a lite work out and have a positive relaxing moment every hour and a half. it doesn't have to be a long break between work but enough to give your mind time to rest and come back to what you are doing refreshed.
it takes some training to do this but honoring your natural circadian rhythm is honoring your natural pace.
