What are you excited about?
About the season change, about long luxurious walks, about pie and warm cuppas. I'm excited about playing with these thin veils as I fall into myself and reap in what I've sewn through out this year. I'm excited about leg warmers and frosty mornings. I'm excited about being met in community with love and celebrating the sparkle dazzle of this amazing year, 2012! I have learned so much.

A lot of people are going through it. The task is to Let go of made up stories that are holding them back, me included. I listened to Tom Lescher of New Paradigm Astrology and he gave a lot of insight - watch the video below, it gets rolling around 7:11. I love being together with community interdependently, in fact I thrive in it. But people are complicated and emotions can be like the angry sea. The task at hand is to remember that we are all powerful, beautiful, radiant beings and all we ever really want is to be loved. Yes, each and everyone of us wants to be loved and accepted, shadow and all.
Let's take responsibility for our shadows and love and accept ourselves FIRST. Let's stop making up negative stories and focus on an optimistic horizon where the air is clear. Let's breath in this clear air and choose bright ideas to make manifest into this shared reality. Then let's play with fun and wonder, laughing a lot. Let's kiss the sky with our starry imaginations and dream big whilst being the antidote. Yes, let's be the antidote to our own fear and overcome the stuff that, we allow, to hold us back. Let's do it together. http://adeyeightmusic.com/ Soundscape of heart enlivening music. That will color any moment with the truth of every archetype. Check out her music and have your world moved.

Jam is another fun way to consume amazing herbs! Working on daily blogs and a weekly Vlog to be featured every Monday. The wild plate - foraged foods and innovative recipes inspired by eating well. Celebrating the urban life, thoughts and ideas on how to live in a concrete jungle. Practical and crazy health care tips, recipes, and wonderments. Health care service packages, skin serum, new aromatics, and educational 'how - to' videos and so much more! Maybe even a playlist to keep you warm through the season change. Bay nuts are the tiny fruit you find hanging from the bay tree. The bay nut resembles its cousin the avocado. Similarly to the avo, the fruit of the bay has a window of tastiness. The nut inside the bay fruit, however can be a tasty treat!
After picking a bunch of bay fruit, I pluck out the nut and eat the good fruit. Roast the nut in a 350° oven till the nut inside the shell is a dark brown. Then I shell all of the roasted nuts (easier to shell after roasting) and grind them up. The taste is bitter chocolate, coffee with a hint of bay. I made gravy out of the batch I made, YUM! The Bay Area features may bay trees. Foraged some bay leaves and bay nuts. Roasted the bay nuts in the oven, ground them. Then added the powder to a grain free bread, and gravy. Stuffed bay leaves under the skin of a river dog chicken along side; shiitake, peppers, crushed garlic, salt, pepper and bariani olive oil. Then baked to perfection. Later a soup made from the bones featuring more bay leaves.
